| Dear Mr. Vallee,
Congratulations to you and your troupe on your fabulous production of "Mermaids of Avalon". Your excellent choreography, beautiful costumes and set design, and the lively music all combined to make the show a feast for the eyes and the ears! Images such as the mermaids dancing under water while their shadows refelected their graceful moves and the moment where your character is near death and your wife dances in a black veil are just two of the scenes that continue to dance through my mind.
I know your dancers are all at various stages in their training, but under your direction, they all seemed to conjure their inner professional. I was in awe. How brave of you to use live music! The music seemed to become a character in the tale rather than mere accompaniment. Toes were tapping! Everyone in the audience seemed as energized as your dancers.
This show deserves to be seen by a much wider audience. I hope your sponsors were in attendance, so that they could see how well their money was spent. We certainly got our money's worth!
My husband and I went to the show not knowing what to expect, and we were truly amazed. Please note that we are not related to nor did we come to see anyone specifically in your group, so our comments are completely unbiased. We will certainly be attending future original productions by your company.
All the best, Edwina Mills
